To mark 60
years of the Isle of Man Arts Council, Strictly Manx 2025 proudly presented "An
Evening with Shirley Ballas".
A one-night-only celebration of dance,
performance, and community spirit held in the Villa Marina.
This year’s
event seen a fresh twist on the beloved Strictly Manx format, with a glittering
evening of variety performances and entertainment, headlined by a live
appearance from internationally acclaimed ballroom dancer and television
personality, Shirley Ballas.
Audiences enjoyed a rare opportunity to hear directly from Shirley as she shared stories from her extraordinary career, from early competitions to 15 years of Dancing With The Stars in America, to her rise on
prime-time television. The evening also included a live audience Q&A session, which offered fans the chance to ask questions and hear personal insights from one
of the most respected figures in the world of ballroom.
Whether you’re a long-time fan of Strictly Manx or
discovering it for the first time, this year’s production gave a fresh
format, an inspiring guest, and an exciting blend of local and national talent.

This is a rare opportunity to see one of the world’s most respected and
accomplished ballroom figures live on stage, sharing her passion,
experiences, and love of dance. This coupled with stellar local performers, Alexandra Slater, Evie Skillicorn, David Artus, the Mannin Youth Dance Company, Manx Trinity Academy of Irish Dance, and our brilliant Isle of Man Dance Teachers Association Ballroom dancers, reminded all those in attendance that our island is just bursting with amazing talent.
